Baby will stick around in the delivery room for just a bit, barring any complications, then he moves to the nursery. In the nursery, nurses and doctors perform preliminary tests and provide preliminary care. After you've recovered enough to care for baby, he will be brought to your room for breastfeeding, bottle feeding and other care until you both are discharged.
