Dr.Grunebaum is is presently an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at the leading Medical College in New York City, and the director of Obstetrics and Chief of Labor&Delivery at a major New York Medical Center.
Dr. Amos Grunebaum has more than 30 years experience in his field of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (high risk pregnancy). In his practice he has become one of the world's leading internet authorities on fertility and pregnancy.
Dr. Amos is the author and co-author of more than 25 peer-reviewed, scientific articles, abstracts, webpages, and book chapters and has co-authored Dr. Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples (Routledge Press, 1999). Through his active private ObGyn practice he has delivered more than 3,000 babies and has supervised more than 10,000 deliveries. He specializes in high risk pregnancies and helping couples become pregnant.
Dr. Amos has worked in this medium since the early days of the internet. In his work, he has created several highly successful pregnancy and fertility sites in the U.S and Europe. Over the years, he has helped tens of thousands of couples around the world achieve their dream of getting pregnant by increasing their chance of conception through his online fertility tools and education.
Over the last decade Dr. Amos has worked on several web sites including INCIID, OnHealth, 9Monate, Qualimedic, and WebMD. Most recently he was the director of the WebMD Fertility Center. Through these sites, he has read and answered well over 100,000 questions from couples trying to conceive and those already pregnant. He created a German pregnancy and fertility web site (www.9Monate.de), which is currently the most popular European web site on health, fertility, and pregnancy. In the U.S., he created and launched BabyMed.com in 2001, which quickly became one of the most popular international fertility and pregnancy sites with many interactive pregnancy and fertility tools.
In addition to being a practicing obstetrician with more than 25 years experience, Dr. Amos Grunebaum is a seasoned media personality. Over the years he has appeared or been quoted on news programs on public television, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and the Charlie Rose show. He has appeared in magazines such as Cosmopolitan and was Marisa Tomei's obstetrician in the Ron Howard movie, The Paper. As the co-author of "Dr.Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples: Love, Sex, and Medical Facts."(Routledge Press, 1999), he also participated in a nationwide radio and bookstore publicity campaign.
