So how bad can implantation cramps get?

Hello
I'm wondering about implantation cramps because I've read a bit about them, but I've never felt anything similar to what I feel now. I was hoping one of you expert ladies could give me some advice :)
I'm on my CD25 and yesterday, CD24, I started feeling cramps exactly like my menstrual cramps. I woke up today and they are still there. They haven't been as bad as my regular cramps, but they are still pretty strong. It's a dull, throbbing pain in the entire pelvic area.
My cycle is very regular at 28 days and I have always experienced cramps on days 2 and 3 of AF. I normally start off day 1 with spotting and then it becomes heavy on days 2, 3 and 4. This time around, the cramps cought me by surprise on CD24 and I thought I would be getting my period early, which is very unusual because it always shows up on CD28. I've been checking for spotting or bleeding since yesterday, but there's nothing.
My husband and I had sex on my CD12, around the time of ovulation, so I'm wondering if I could be pregnant. I don't want to take a HPT until after CD28, but I wonder if some of you have had the same experience with the early cramping. Can it get as intense as regular menstrual cramps?

Thanks babyhopes3. I keep checking for signs of AF, but still nothing. I've got everything crossed! Cramps are still going strong and it's the first time I'm actually looking forward to them sticking around :P

I got pregnant 3 times and only in the last one I experienced implantation cramps. It happened for me at 6 DPO or CD 22 and it was like AF cramps only less intense (I can get pretty intense AF cramps). The cramps for me lasted only few hours, but I hear of women experiencing this pain on and off for few days. Your chart looks really good and if you don't normally experience cramps at this time of your cycle then I say you have a pretty good chance of getting a BFP soon! Best of luck!

sodastereo - I am experiencing the same thing and they tend to come and go but your chart looks much easier to read than mine since my cycles are irregular coming off birth control pills 7 months ago. I sure hope and pray that they are implantation cramping for us both as your chart looks great!

Thanks for all the positivity, ladies! I really hope this is it. I'm going to wait until CD28 to test though. I don't want to go too crazy with it :)

Sodastereo - YAY!!! Congrats on your BFP!!! I am with Renee I came back too and checked your chart ...doing the happy baby dance for you!!! I wish you a H&H 9 months!!! BTW - I finally decided to "man up" this morning and test with my last Clear Blue Easy digi and apparently I assumed that I should hold it in the cup as long as it says to pee on it (5 sec) and got a funky little picture which lead me to read the directions....apparently cup wise I needed to have held it in for 20 seconds so I still don't know yet but plan on getting some more tests on my way home :o)

Hi all,,,,, am new on this site. am oso experiencing the same. Am on my CD23 today and the crumps started yesterday. Mine actually feel like am ovulating and on both sides, is it normal or Cud i be pregnant???? sombody help.
